Mississippi College

Our Accelerated Degree Program provides the quality and depth of a traditional undergraduate degree with the flexibility of an accelerated evening schedule. Each course is offered in eight-week sessions that meet two evenings per week allowing you to earn 30 hours per year toward your degree. However, Accelerated students also have the option of choosing online courses as well. 

Business Administration: Accounting focus

The purpose of the accounting curriculum is to provide students with knowledge and practical application in all aspects of accounting. This foundation provides accounting majors with the theoretical concepts and skills necessary for initial entry and advancement in the accounting profession.

The objective of the business administration curriculum is to provide students with a challenging, high quality education that results in a thorough understanding of the traditional functional areas of business and its managerial applications. This foundation allows business administration majors to effectively contribute to the operation, administration and organizational objectives of the enterprises in which they will become engaged.

The finance major is designed to give students a strong foundation in the principles and the practices of finance. Students majoring in finance will develop the analytical and technical financial skills needed for their career in finance as well as the skills for informed financial decision making.

The purpose of the marketing curriculum is to demonstrate the relevance and importance of the theory and practice of marketing and marketing management to all sectors of the economy. Interpersonal and Public Communication is a highly interdisciplinary concentration that prepares students for careers in public relations consulting, political campaign management and for graduate programs ranging from law school to seminary.
