MA, ThM, PhD - New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary
I have served as an adjunct instructor of New Testament for Leavell College since 2008 and New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary since 2009. I also served as research associate, assistant project director, and project director for the H. Milton Haggard Center for New Testament Textual Studies' NT Critical Apparatus available through Accordance and BibleWorks, and soon, Logos software (2007-12). I served as pastor of Jayess Baptist Church (2006-8) and have been preaching and teaching in local churches since 1998.
My passion is to know God's Word, to teach it to others, and to equip students for ministry. I also enjoy the study of New Testament textual criticism. My favorite quote is from the 18th century pastor and textual scholar Johann Albrecht Bengel (1687-1752) "Apply yourself wholly to the text; Apply the text wholly to yourself"
