The Mississippi College logo should be printed in the PMS 540 Blue.
Mississippi College’s official gold is PMS 130 Gold.
In an alternative to the PMS 540 Blue, the logo may also appear in PANTONE PROCESS BLACK or white.
While there are no specific guidelines on the use of additional colors in the print publications, the Office of Public Relations would like to provide color options to help create a consistent visual impact in the overall branding of the university.
The Garamond type family has been selected as the standard to accompany Mississippi College materials on which the logo appears, including stationary, envelopes and business cards. Brochures, catalogs, newsletters and other forms of publications may require the use of other typefaces. When this is necessary, the Avenir type family is recommended.
In regards to website text, the approved heading font is Function Caps and Arial. The approved body text font is Arial.
Photography style is another key component in the creation of the MC Identity. The intention with our images is to depict Mississippi College as a perfect combination of traditional elements and modern dynamics. Photos on university publications should represent Mississippi College’s positive and diverse student population. They should appear unstaged and spontaneous with the exception of portraits.
