As a business administration major, you’ll take courses in topics such as:

The curriculum focuses on equipping students with a broad skill set and comprehensive knowledge base, enabling them to contribute effectively to their organization at any level. Because of the diversity and flexibility of the coursework, students gain excellent training for a successful career in small business, not-for-profit management or the corporate world.
While you’re learning the fundamentals of business administration, you’ll also explore a diverse curriculum that nurtures critical thinking skills, encourages teamwork and builds your writing abilities. You’ll investigate ethical and moral issues, while acquiring management skills in a Christian context. And you’ll gain understanding of business issues from a global perspective, integrating awareness of current events and financial trends.
Choose Your Focus
As a business administration major, you can pursue an additional career track in Sports Management, Pharmaceutical Sales, Entrepreneurship, Advertising and Promotion, or Real Estate by completing an additional 12 hours of credit in your chosen area of concentration.

While hundreds of students choose MC’s School of Business each year, you’ll still benefit from small class sizes and personal connections with faculty. Our faculty offer a wealth of professional experience from the business world, with 20 out of 22 also holding a Ph.D. in their field.
Facilities
Mississippi College’s School of Business is located in Self Hall, a state-of-the-art learning facility. Recently updated with a multi-million dollar renovation, Self Hall features building-wide wireless internet and up-to-the-minute stock tickers displayed throughout the building. Classrooms offer stadium-style seating and high-tech learning tools. Labs are equipped with up-to-date computer technology and specialized software for business applications.

In today’s business environment, travel experience and an international outlook are important. Build on your business training with a global outlook at MC. Mississippi College offers study abroad programs in Costa Rica, France, London, Austria, Seoul and Spain.
