Jennifer McGill, Director of Career Services

In the summer of 2011, Jennifer and her husband Shawn were called to Mississippi to work at a local church in Ridgeland, MS, where they serve as the Young Life pastors.

Jennifer is a native of Arkansas. After receiving a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and a Master of Science in College Student Personnel from Arkansas Tech University, Jennifer went on to work in the Oil and Gas Industry for a subsidiary of Exxon Mobil Corporation for 3 years, doing legal research and handling land title issues.  Jennifer also worked for Student Support Services, a Federal TRiO program, at Arkansas Tech University. As Director of the Career Services department, Jennifer meets with students and directs and leads on campus Career Services events, as well as gives the overall vision and leadership for the department.

Jennifer’s top 5 strengths are: Developer, Empathy, Belief, Woo and Connectedness.

Brittney Cloyd, Administrative Assistant to Career Services and Student Success

A native of Illinois, Brittney moved to Mississippi and earned her Bachelor of Science in English and secondary education from Blue Mountain College in 2009. After graduation, she taught in Kansas and Mississippi before joining the MC staff in 2012.            

As Administrative Assistant to Career Services and Student Success, Brittney coordinates social media messages; maintains the online job board; and assists students, parents, faculty, and employers with their questions and needs.

Brittney’s top 5 strengths are: Input, Strategic, Intellection, Connectedness, and Learner.

Trisha Daniel, Student Life Assistant to Career Services

A 2010 graduate of Mississippi College, Trisha grew up in Madison, Mississippi, but has called Clinton home for the past six years. Trisha has worked as a full time resident director for Hederman and Gunter Halls since 2011, building community and positive experiences for women in the residence halls.

As the Student Life Assistant to Career Services, Trisha leads the team in website updates, resume reviews, and assisting with planning Career Services events, such as Career Day and Networking Workshop.

Trisha’s Top 5 Strengths are: Connectedness, Developer, Restorative, Intellection and Input.

Ashley Dillard, Student Assistant to Career Services 

Ashley is a junior at Mississippi College majoring in Communications with a concentration in Public Relations, and also minoring in Marketing.  Ashley is actively involved on campus through Campus Activities Board, Scouts, MC Messengers, PRAM, and Laguna Social Tribe. She attends First Baptist Jackson where she is involved in the College Ministry.

Ashley assists Career Services in the area of marketing the services offered to students and planning events such as Career Day.
