Although you're probably thinking about all of your plans for after graduation, there are a number of things that still need to be taken care of before graduation day.
Under a policy approved by the Commencement Committee, the Participation Deadline for the August 2013 Commencement is Friday, June 21, 2013. Students who apply for graduation after that date cannot participate in the Commencement Exercises and may not have their names listed in the program.
If it is necessary for you to apply to graduate after the participation deadline, you cannot use the online process. You must submit an absentia form along with a degree application form to the Registrar’s Office so we will know where to mail your diploma. These forms are available in the Registrar’s Office.
