I currently serve as a professor in the Department of Communication. My areas of teaching include:
- public speaking,
- listening,
- nonverbal communication,
- intercultural communication,
- argumentation,
- negotiation, and
- persuasion.
I also serve the department and the university in several capacities.
- Advisor for the Alpha Chi chapter of Lambda Pi Eta the communication honor society.
- Director of Debate
- Director of the Communication Department graduate program.
- Member of the Intercollegiate Atheletics Committee
- Executive Director of Mississippi Communication Association
