Digital Media Production

This concentration prepares students for on-air and production work in a variety of modern broadcast and digital media contexts.

Earn a Bachelor’s Degree in Digital Media Production

Develop the skills necessary to effectively communicate stories across a variety of digital formats.

Digital Media Production is offered as a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) or Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree. The B.A. degree requires an additional twelve hours of foreign languages. All Communication majors take a foundational selection of courses in public speaking, communication law and research, public relations, mass media, graphic design, and journalism. The Digital Media Production concentration coursework will focus on digital and broadcast media production.

Students utilize state of the art studio facilities that provide students the ability to produce media using industry-standard video recording and editing equipment while serving the campus by producing programs and reports that inform and entertain. Students choosing this concentration are prepared for on-air and production work in television, radio, and a variety of other mass media contexts.
