Purchased by Mississippi College from the Latimer family in 1969, the Latimer House was restored and preserved as a campus guest house and popular spot for alumni receptions. Surrounded by beautiful trees, the residence was first used by President Webb as a residence until 1906 after his home in Clinton burned in December 1894.
