Reid Vance
Associate Professor and Chair - Communication
Reid Vance is an Associate Professor and Chair of Communication. He holds the B.S. and M.S. in Communication from Mississippi College, the M.A. in Christian Education from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary, and the Ph.D. in Higher Education from Azusa Pacific University. Reid teaches courses in journalism and sports media, and in MC’s Honors College. He also serves as broadcast Voice of the Choctaws for Mississippi College athletics. Reid has prior experience in college student affairs, campus ministry, church leadership, and Christian camp ministry. A native of Canton, Mississippi, Reid and his wife, Cheli, live in Clinton are leaders in the young single adult ministry at First Baptist Church of Jackson.
