Tutoring
In order to promote academic success, the Office of Global Education (OGE) sponsors a tutoring program for international students in need of academic support. OGE tutoring is intended to help struggling students improve their grades, adjust to academic study in an American classroom, and understand course content. The program pairs international students seeking assistance with academically successful students—whether international or domestic—in similar majors and courses of study. The tutoring pairs then meet weekly, according to the needs and schedules of the participants.
International students who need academic assistance in any class should seek their advisor or contact the Office of Global Education. The earlier in the semester a student asks for help in a class the better.
