Business Professor Nancy Anderson Speaks at Flowood Center Lunch and Learn
Mississippi College business professor Nancy Anderson is the guest speaker at the Flowood Center’s Lunch and Learn Series on March 25.
Her topic will be “Getting Rich Without Making More Money.” The program that Friday begins at noon. It is free and open to the public.
The MC professor is an author and business owner. A Mississippi College graduate, Anderson is a regular panelist on the weekly statewide radio program “Money Talks” heard on Mississippi Public Broadcasting System stations.
Making more money is “not the ultimate goal,” Anderson says. “Having a better life is the real goal we seek to obtain.”
“Dr. Anderson is a nationally known speaker on the topic of financial toughness,” says Sara Kimmel, director of the Flowood Center and a business professor. “We are delighted to host this event.”
For folks in Rankin County and other metro Jackson areas, “this is an excellent opportunity to hear straight financial truth from an expert in the field,” Kimmel said.
Opened in August 2010, the MC center is located next-door to the Flowood Chamber of Commerce and Visitors Center at 115 Laurel Park Cove off Lakeland Drive. Folks are encouraged to bring their lunch. People are asked to make reservations by March 22. For more information, call 601.925.7775.
