Financial Aid Timeline

July 1st, 2018: Summer loans and grants are disbursed to student accounts. You must be in a class on July 1st to receive aid for the summer term. Summer term starts our 2018-2019 year and is based on the 2018-2019 FAFSA. (Refunds are disbursed within 14 business days after aid disburses to student accounts by the business office)
August 2nd, 2018: Last day to certify loans for Summer Semester.
September 15th, 2018: Deadline to apply for MTAG and MESG through the state of Mississippi. (Riseupms.com)
September 7th, 2018: Financial Aid is disbursed to student accounts for Fall Semester. (Refunds are disbursed within 14 business days after aid disburses to student accounts by the business office)
October 1st, 2018: Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is available online for students to complete for the 2019-2020 year. This FAFSA is for those students that will be enrolled June 2019-May 2020. (FAFSA.gov)
October 1st, 2018: The Mississippi Office of Student Financial Aid application is available for the 2019-2020 school year for MTAG, MESG, and HELP. (Riseupms.com)
December 12th, 2018: Last day to certify loans for Fall Semester.
January 14th, 2019: Spring Semester Classes Begin. Transfers and New Graduate students need to complete the 2018-2019 FAFSA to receive federal aid for the Spring semester.
January 28th, 2019: Financial Aid is disbursed to student accounts for Spring Semester. (Refunds are disbursed within 14 business days after aid disburses to student accounts by the business office)
March 31st, 2019: Deadline to apply for HELP through the state of Mississippi. (Riseupms.com)
May 8th, 2019: Last Day to certify loans for Spring Semester.
