Assistant Professor and Director of Pre-Law and Paralegal Studies - Department of History and Political Science

The Department of History and Political Science at Mississippi College invites applications for a tenure­ track Assistant Professor position to direct the Pre-Law and Paralegal Studies program beginning in the Fall 2025 semester. The successful applicant will have either a Juris Doctorate, Ph.D. or be an ABED candidate near completion.

The success applicant will direct our Paralegal Studies program and the Pre-Law minor. Ability to teach Introduction to Law and other law-focused classes is necessary. Candidates with the credentials to teach either History or Political Science classes preferred. The director will also oversee internships for students, carry a full-time teaching load, advise students, and serve on department and university committees.
