Finishing Options to Complete Your Project
Comb Binding
Comb binding is a popular choice for a lot of documents.
This binding creates a bound book that can be opened again if pages need to be added or taken out at a later time. It works best with thick documents because it allows the page to turn more easily. It is also a good choice if you want an item bound that contains odd-sized documents.
Spiral Binding
Spiral Binding is a plastic binding that is great for professional-looking documents, reports, proposals, booklets, calendars, etc. It is more durable than comb binding however it does not work well with odd sized pages
A clear or color cardstock cover, as well as a black backing, are available for both spiral and comb binding for a small fee at your request
Saddle Stitch
It is usually the perfect choice for binding booklets, magazines, notebooks, catalogs, programs, workbooks, calendars, etc. Saddle stitching is the perfect solution for smaller-sized booklets. Saddle stitching is not recommended for booklets that have more than 50 pages as it can result in a bulky end product that bows at the spine and does not lay flat.
Trifold / Letterfold 8.5” x 11”
This fold creates three equal sections by folding the sides over the middle. Most tri-folds bend the right side first and then the left so that when opened, the brochure reads from left to right. It measures 3.66 inches wide by 8.5 inches tall when finished, so it even fits neatly into a #10 envelope.
Laminating
Lamination Printing is the process of applying a thin layer of plastic to paper to enhance and protect the printed matter. Lamination is often used for book covers, brochures, business cards, and other printed items.
