Mental Health Services Outreach Program provides opportunities for students to learn more about the counseling center's mission. We develop psycho educational programs that emphasize a multicultural, Christian, and developmental perspective on prevention, wellness and student self help. We also create programs that collaborate with other departments, faculty, and staff to enhance the general campus climate. Examples of some outreach programs are National Depression Screening Day, Alcohol Awareness Week, Pet a Puppy, and National Eating Disorder Awareness Week. Mental Health Services Outreach Program aims to remind students that the counseling center is here to provide support and encouragement throughout their experiences at Mississippi College.
