Information about phone services provided

Words in Italics are selections from the OpenStage Menu Display. Select a feature by pressing the press OK button, or pressing a feature button, if programmed.

To Adjust Ring Volume & Tone: Press + key. Select Ringer Volume? or scroll to and select Ringer Pitch? Use + and to adjust the level. Press the OK key to save your settings.

Transfer a call: Transferring a call with announcement, select Start transfer? And your first call goes on hold. Dial the number to which you want to transfer the call. Announce the call and hang up to end the call. Transferring a call without announcement, select and confirm Start transfer? Enter the party’s extension and hang up receiver.

Answering a Second Call: While on a call, place your first call on hold by pressing the flashing line to answer the second call. The connection to the first party is on hold.

Conference: Begin with an ordinary call. Scroll to Start Conference?, press the OK key, dial party you wish to add to conference, display will say “Conference? “ and press the OK key. To add more members to the conference display will now say “Add to Conference?” Select OK and dial the next number. When the party answers, next select “Conference? “. Repeat for up to 8 members (7others including yourself).

Callback: (Formerly known as Camp) If you want to request a callback on a busy or ring-no-answer extension, while listening to the ringing or busy tone scroll through the guide and select “Callback?”. Then hang up. When the party you are requesting the callback for becomes available, your phone will ring back with a triple ring. Once you lift the handset, it calls the party back.

Forwarding: To setup call forwarding, get dial tone and dial #91 + the extension you are forwarding to, followed by the # sign. To cancel forwarding, get dial tone and dial ##91.

Redial: To dial the last dialed number, lift handset and display will say “Last Number Redial?”. Select OK to redial.

Call Pickup: Allows members of a determined group to answer another ringing telephone. When another extension is ringing within the same pick group press, the Pick button twice or dial **3 to answer the call. You can also answer a ringing phone or a call on hold by selecting Pick and entering the extension number of the ringing phone or where the call is holding. If a Pick button is not on the phone, you can dial *3 + extension number.

Station Speed Dial: User can program 30 personal speed dial numbers. Assign an Index = 00 - 29 to each number you wish to store. Open the Program/Service Menu and select Destinations? Confirm the option. Select and confirm Speed dial features? Press the required speed dial key and confirm New entry? Enter the external number and confirm Save?

To use a station speed number, dial #3 and the 2-digit index number.

Preview: This allows you to preview the caller ID of a secondary line appearance. If you would like to see caller ID of another incoming call, 1st select the Preview button and then select the line that is ringing and the caller ID will show on the display. Select Preview again to turn off the feature.

Speakerphone: Press the Speaker key, then dial, to make a speakerphone call.

Mute: Pressing the Mute button blocks the telephone’s microphone in a speaker or handset call. It will be lit red when activated.

Park: To place a call on hold at another extension, if labeled on the phone press the Park key, then dial the destination number or scroll down to Park to Station? and select OK.

To retrieve call: Press the Pickup key and dial the extension number the call is on hold at or just press the flashing line key if it is parked on your phone.

Call Log: Your phone saves the last 10 unanswered calls, the last 6 outgoing calls and the last 12 incoming calls. While your phone is in the idle mode, press the OK key and select and confirm the option: Unanswered calls? Incoming Calls? Outgoing calls? If you want to call back and particular number select Output? The relevant party (internal or external) is then called.

Voicemail: This key will light when new messages are received. Press the key to access voicemail. Xpressions will prompt you to enter in your password.

Choose FWD-VAR-BZ/NA-BTH to forward all calls Enter destination phone number Save? You may also dial #91 + extension to forward to and then select the OK. To cancel forwarding, dial ##91.

Redial: This allows you to redial a number that you have called and get a ring no answer or busy. While listening to the busy or ring press the key to save the number. To redial, simply press the key. You can also save one number at a time. To save a new number follow the same procedure as mentioned above.

Callback: (Formerly Camp-On) If you call an extension and get a busy, the display will say Callback?. Select OK and hang up. When the extension gets off of the phone, your phone will ring you back with a triple ring. When the handset is lifted, it calls the extension back. The Callback will attempt 4 times and then cancel.

Call Pickup: Allows members of a determined group to answer another ringing telephone. When another extension is ringing within the same pick group, press the Pick key (if available) twice or dial **3 to answer the call. You may also answer a specific extension by pressing the Pick key and dialing the extension or *3 + extension.

Calls to your phone and numbers dialed from your phone are recorded chronologically in the call log, sorted, and divided into the following lists:

Unanswered calls? Incoming Calls? Outgoing calls? Each call is assigned a time stamp. The most recent entry in the list that has not yet been retrieved is displayed first.

Under each type of call, the call log will display Output? (call the displayed party, Next call? (show the next entry), Delete? (delete the entry) and Return? (back to the list overview).
