In August, Mississippi College will welcome the Class of 2025 to campus. Last year, Residence Life had to make significant changes to the move-in process due to COVID-19 restrictions. Currently, this year’s move-in plans promise a return to more normal procedures. However, protocols are being actively monitored. “There is a task force that is monitoring CDC guidelines and will make the final decision(s) when we are closer to move in,” says Residence Life Director Julie Kerr.
Freshman and transfers are scheduled to move in on August 21, 2021 from 8 am - 12 pm. Some upperclassmen, returning students have been invited to move in earlier that week, so they will be available to help the freshman and transfers move in. More details and specifics will be sent to students via their MC email accounts over the coming weeks.
Until details are released, Residence Life Director Julie Kerr suggests preparing for Move-In Day by:
-
starting to check you MC student email account regularly
-
contacting your roommate to make plans about who is brining what and to begin to get to know each other
-
begin to pray through what you would like to be involved in while you are at MC.
We are so excited for the Class of 2025 to move in and find their place on campus in August.
See you soon, Choctaws! Sincerely, MC
