VISION Worship
Monday nights at 6:30pm, the BSU gathers for worship at First Baptist Church, Clinton in the Activities Building. This time of worship is open for all MC students and is led by students on the BSU Lead Team. Worship is held each week in the Fall and Spring semesters, excluding days off as recognized by the MC Campus Calendar.
Koinonia Discipleship Groups
Each year the BSU comes alongside students in assisting them to fulfill the call to make disciples who make disciples of Jesus Christ. These discipleship groups strive to be a biblical community among peers who are willing to be authentic, gracious, and Gospel-centered. If you are interested in being a part of a discipleship group, please drop by the BSU office or one of our ministry events.
Choctaw Crew
If you're new or want to get more involved in the BSU, this is a great way to get connected and serve. Join the Choctaw Crew that serves with special projects and events.
International Friendship Connections
The nations have come to Mississippi College! Each week, on Tuesdays at 3:30 PM in the Activities Building of Clinton's First Baptist Church, we will provide an opportunity to develop a friendship with international students through games, cultural exchange, and conversational English. In addition, there will be other fun events throughout the school year offered to continue your friendships and conversations.
Apartment Ministry
90% of residents in apartment complexes are un-churched and not being offered the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Each week, students are sent out to apartment ministry locations in the Jackson area to minister to the children living there. They play games, make crafts, and tell them about Jesus. We meet in the BSU Center at 3:30 on Wednesdays to carpool.
