What You Should Know About Orientation

  • Stay up-to-date with Orientation details by following @misscollege.students on Instagram. You'll also be able to view photos from your Orientation session on the Student Engagement Photo Site.

  • For one-day sessions, dress comfortably- there is no need to dress up since you may be walking around campus some. You may also want to bring a notebook and pen to take notes.

  • For two-day sessions, plan to bring comfortable clothes- there is no need to dress up since you may be walking around campus some. You may also want to bring a notebook and pen to take notes. For your overnight stay, you'll be staying in a dorm room with furniture only, so plan to bring bedding/pillow, toiletries and a bath towel.
  • For two-day sessions, you get to stay on campus! This is an exciting part of orientation where you get to experience a glimpse of life in an MC dorm. If your roommate is attending the same orientation as you, you will be rooming with them at orientation. If not, you'll be paired with someone else, so you use the opportunity to make a new friend! Students attending a two-day session are required to stay on campus.
  • You will hear from your Orientation Leader (OL) before Orientation! If your OL hasn't contacted you within one week of your orientation session, please contact Kelsey Sanchez at KLSanchez@mc.edu.
  • We will have a special post-Orientation event on May 22nd and May 28th! You're invited- more information to follow!
  • Download the "Directions to Orientation" document above to find out how to get to campus, where to go when you arrive and where to park!
