Report a Violation of the Student Code
Student Code violations include behavior related to alcohol, drugs, harassment (non-sexual in nature), property violations, visitation, disorderly conduct and any other violation found in the Mississippi College Student Code of Conduct.
Report Concerning Behavior
The purpose of the form below is to report any concerning, suspicious, worrisome or threatening behavior exhibited by Mississippi College students. If you believe a University official should be made aware of something you know or something you witnessed, let us know!
Report Sexual Misconduct and Relationship Violence — Title IX and Violence Against Women (VAWA)
If you know of any instance of sexual misconduct such as sexual harassment, sexual assault, sexual exploitation, domestic violence, dating violence, stalking or any other prohibited conduct from the Mississippi College Sexual Misconduct & Relationship Violence Policy, report it below. Incidents or behavior involving only students, students and faculty/staff or only faculty/staff can all be reported from this form.
*Note, all Mississippi College employees, excluding counselors and pastoral counselors, are considered "Responsible Employees" under Title IX guidance, and are therefore obligated to report instances of Sexual Misconduct & Relationship Violence.
Report Suspected Discrimination or Harassment Based on Race, National Origin, Color, Religion, Disability, Age, or Gender
Discrimination and harassment based on protected categories may be a form of illegal discrimination. Harassment is not consistent with the Christian values expected of all members of the MC community and the University prohibits discrimination and harassment directed toward others.
Sex discrimination and harassment may refer to prohibited sexual misconduct covered by Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972. Reports of sex discrimination or harassment will be referred to the Title IX Coordinator for a review and determination as to the proper handling of the report.
Report Hazing
The purpose of the form below is to report any act of hazing exhibited by Mississippi College students, studenet organizations or MC sponsored group. The Mississippi College Student Code of Conduct defines hazing as “an act which threatens the mental or physical health or safety of a student, or causes embarrassment or humiliation, or which destroys or removes public or private property, for the
purpose of initiation, admission into, affiliation with, or as a condition for continued membership in a group or organization, a
student's willingness to participate in such activity notwithstanding."
